Firefox Beta, a new browser will be soon launched by Mozilla. The features of this browser will be tested before its release and will be added to the Firefox browser later. Firefox Beta has been released with new option “No Track” that stops anyone tracking your online activities. Other features such as faster loading of pages, bug fixes and smoother panning. Internet users can be benefited with the “No Track” option.
Mozilla have released the Firefox Beta version for Android and Maemo powered smart phones. The code for this Firefox Beta is apparently an optimized version of the one that’s used for the desktops.
The enhancements introduced of Firefox Beta are as follows
- Separated of the rendering process and the user interface process, which will for example, enable users to scroll through web pages before the rendering process has finished generating page.
- creation of Layers for hardware acceleration
- Firefox Sync for syncing bookmarks, history, passwords and more in encrypted form across browser instances.
While these platforms already have their own native browsers, Mozilla aims at creating a seamless experience between the smart phones and desktop computers. The software is compatible with number of mobile devices except for some old models.
